Bike Gainesville promotes cycling as both a means of transportation and a sport in the greater Gainesville area. We are working to make available to the community as much cycling information as possible in order to put more people on their bicycles. Our local government, businesses, and cycling organizations are working to improve the area for bicyclists. Bike Gainesville is committed to expanding the reach, visibility, and dialogue among these groups.

We roast all of our coffee to-order in micro-batches to ensure that our customers always receive coffee that is consistently fresh, aromatic, and delicious. All of our coffees are certified USDA Organic, high altitude, shade grown, specialty-grade Arabica. And, all but one of our coffees is Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance certified (we are presently assessing this coffee to determine if their sustainability practices fit our model). We also offer Smithsonian Bird Friendly coffees.
Sweetwater is a member of Cooperative Coffees, the world’s only Fair Trade, organic green coffee purchasing collective, which is based in Americus, Georgia. Together with 23 other roasters from the frosty Yukon down to sunny Gainesville, Sweetwater works directly with small-scale coffee farmer cooperatives to bring some of the world’s best, fairly traded coffee to coffee-loving consumers here in the United States and Canada. Sweetwater’s Rainforest Alliance certified coffees come from some of the world’s most ethical estates whose land-use and business practices conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods. Sweetwater is committed to realizing the message of sustainability by roasting truly extraordinary coffee that does justice to our hard-working trading partners and Mother Nature… from crop to cup.
