Description
Alachua County’s Mobility PlanThe Alachua County Mobility Plan is a recent update of the County’s Comprehensive Plan that includes multiple strategies to effectively link Land Use and Transportation Planning into a cohesive framework. The primary facets of the plan consist of a multimodal transportation plan, including dedicated Bus Rapid Transit lanes, in combination with incentives and requirements for compact Transit Oriented and Traditional Neighborhood Developments. Additionally, the plan uses some novel approaches to transportation concurrency and a multimodal impact fee system to further incentivize public and private investments that are consistent with the community’s vision for its future development and redevelopment.
